| Core Values Scripture: We believe in the complete authority, reliability and relevancy of God’s special and divine revelation recorded in the Holy Bible. It is the basis for all Christian teaching, preaching and living. Salvation: We believe all have sinned and need to be cleansed by the saving power of God experienced by accepting Jesus Christ’s invitation to a personal relationship by faith in Him. God desires to transform every person one individual at a time through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Worship: We believe in the importance of regular individual and corporate worship. Witness: We believe every Christian is to live a life of service. This includes serving, participating and giving to missions that advance the work and witness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, sharing the grace we found in Christ at work, home, and in the marketplace. Formation: We believe that each day through the exercise of spiritual disciplines, learning the scriptures and yielding to God’s Holy Spirit, we grow in the wholeness God desires for His people. We help others experience wholeness by caring for their physical, emotional, mental and spiritual wellbeing. Ultimate wholeness comes when the believer passes to life beyond the grave. Fellowship: We believe that Christian life is expressed in community through love and unity. In community we discover, develop and employ our spiritual gifts and share with each other in many ways that honor God’s Word and deepen our relationships. Worldview: We believe we are to be continually in the transformation process. We are designed to grow into the image and likeness of Christ. As our minds are changed by the presence of Christ in our lives we will look at ourselves, family, enemies, work, play, politics, life and even death differently. We strive to look at everything with the eyes of Christ! |
